Pharmacy is a noble profession being practised since the ancient age. Pharmacy has grown manifold with the passing years, and the role of a pharmacist in our world is indispensable for the healthcare sector. From manufacturing medicines to keeping Quality control and Developing new drugs through Research and development, pharmacy is a very diverse field, with a multi-pronged approach towards solving humanity’s problems. With the increase in life expectancy, the proportion of the elderly population is also increasing. Hence, there is an increase in medical needs and an implied increase in the need for pharmacists. All this has led to many new job prospects for field students in an already progressing and developing sector. The pharmacy offers jobs in the domestic market and allows one to explore the global market, from higher studies to jobs as academicians and industry specialists; the scope is immense. 

We at Pt. L. R. College of Pharmacy (Pt. L. R. College is PCI and AICTE approved) has a modern infrastructure with well-maintained laboratories and a well-equipped Machine room to give our students hands-on experience of how the industry functions. The college library, with many National and International journals and well-connected internet facilities, is an excellent student asset. 

I, Prof (Dr) Ravi Malhotra, Principal of Pharmacy Pt. L. R college of Pharmacy welcomes all my students and wish their luck for this new journey they are about to embark on with us.I am an alumnus of DIPSAR (Under University of Delhi) with an experience spanning 33 years in India and Abroad, I have worked extensively in the industry before deciding to become an academician to enable me to give back to society by guiding young minds. We here at Pt. L. R. College is committed to helping students excel and realize their dreams.
